The language of love is universal and Pune based singer-songwriter, Gaurav Tophakhane delivers the same in an endearing phone-shot debut music video for his single ‘Na Jaane Main Na Jaane Tu’. Shot on a One Plus 3 in POV style, the music video captures a day of road-tripping in a couple’s life which ends in a proposal on the beach. The song in itself is a simple yet catchy guitar-based track that swells slowly into the outro featuring the lead guitar.
Gaurav’s tryst with independent music did not start recently. In fact, Gaurav has been part of gigs since 2010, both on and off stage. He started freelancing as a photographer for various bands until he founded his own pop-rock band called Skylight Vision in 2014. The band released their debut EP in October 2014 followed by their collaboration with the famous eclectic duo Shaair & Func. Such was the success of Skylight Vision that it was the only Pune act that played at NH7 Weekender Pune 2015. They also played various shows all over India within the span of 2015 till mid-2017 after which they went on indefinite hiatus. But this did not stop Gaurav from being connected to music. He soon started working on his solo project. ‘Na Jaane Main Na Jaane Tu’ is the start of Gaurav’s journey as a solo artist and the culmination of months worth of work.
