This edition of release spotlight dives into a mix of emotions and sounds—exploring love, loss, resilience, and rebellion. From genre-blending experiments to raw, stripped-down storytelling, each track offers something fresh. Some push sonic boundaries, fusing tradition with modern production, while others tap into deep personal struggles or celebrate moments of connection. Whether it’s high-energy chaos, reflective melodies, or powerful lyricism, these songs bring a little bit of everything to the table.

1) Aaj Likha Hai – Aarohan, Asawari Srivastava, Rohan Prasanna

Aaj Likha Hai is a deeply personal song that captures the journey of an individual putting their thoughts into words, shaping their dreams for the future. With intricate composition and evocative storytelling, Aarohan and Asawari Srivastava create a reflective narrative of introspection and hope, reminding listeners of the healing power of self-expression through writing.

5) Sweeter Than Sound – Shaan Kambli

Mumbai-born solo artist Shaan Kambli brings a fresh perspective to indie music with Sweeter Than Sound, a track that explores the impact of superstition on romance through a dynamic vocal melody and rich instrumentation. 6) Chemical Rain – Shivang Arora ft Komorebi

The song is a deeply personal take on human greed and environmental collapse It is intense, haunting, and painfully relevant, even with its dystopian setting. The lyrics dive into issues like societal decay, and the dehumanizing impact of rapid technological advancement.


7) Scud City – Komodo Jane

Delhi-based punk rock’n’roll band Komodo Jane charges full-speed ahead with Scud City, a raw and relentless track that doubles as a love/hate ode to their city. With breakneck energy and biting melodies, the song captures the grit, chaos, and underground pulse of early 2010s Delhi. Filmed in a basement and back alleys, the accompanying music video adds to the track’s unfiltered intensity.


8) Revived Emotions – Aakash Sridhar

Bangalore-born, Denton-based pianist and composer Aakash Sridhar introduces Revived Emotions, a debut album that blends modern jazz with storytelling. Each track is inspired by a universal emotion, weaving intricate compositions that evoke deep, personal connections. Revived Emotions offers a fresh perspective on jazz, inviting listeners into a world where music and emotion intertwine.


9) Teri Rahi- Dikshant

Teri Rahi by Dikshant offers a rare glimpse into one-sided love from a girl’s perspective, capturing the quiet ache of unspoken emotions. Through heartfelt lyrics and soulful melodies, the song tells the story of a girl who, despite knowing they’re not meant to be, holds onto the love she feels. His smile remains her favorite, his absence never enough to change what she feels in her heart—she is, and will always be, his Ranjana.


10) Kadambari- Sutej Singh

Kaadambari is a fusion of progressive rock and Indian classical music, born from guitarist-composer Sutej Singh’s desire to explore new sonic landscapes. Featuring the mesmerizing vocals of Nandini Srikar, the track bridges two distinct worlds, blending intricate instrumentation with classical depth. Named in homage to Goddess Saraswati, Kaadambari is a tribute to the wisdom, art, and music that inspire creative expression.


11) Jhumka Sway- Soha

“Jhumka Sway” reflects Soha’s personal journey, exploring the impact of external
opinions that lead to self-doubt and insecurity. The lyrics resonate with anyone who has faced criticism, showcasing her evolution from vulnerability to confidence. The catchy chorus proclaims, “Nothing can stop how far I go,” reinforcing the importance of overcoming superficial barriers imposed by society.


12) Here and Now- Alo Wala, PAV4N, Clap! Clap!

Copenhagen-based MC ALO WALA joins forces with PAV4N for Here And Now, a high-energy track blending global hip-hop, thunderous bass, and stadium-sized percussion. Produced by Italian duo Satori Stereo Saiyan, the song pairs ALO WALA’s unguarded, raw vocals with PAV4N’s signature grime-laced delivery. A collaboration years in the making, Here And Now channels themes of lust, freedom, and those fleeting moments you experience in your life.


13) Bicchoo – RAKHT

RAKHT’s Bicchoo is a raw, unfiltered deep dive into paranoia, power, and survival. Blending hard-hitting trap beats with glitchy distortions and razor-sharp lyricism, the Ghaziabad-based artist delivers an EP that captures the extremes of mania, self-destruction, and hunger for legacy. From the relentless energy of Death on 8 Legs to the haunting vulnerability of Do You Miss Me?, Bicchoo is a statement of intent.


14) Glad you came along- Tiana Tara

Bombay-based singer-songwriter Tiana Tara teams up with guitarist and songwriter Debanjan Biswas for Glad You Came Along, a romantic and uplifting track perfect for Valentine’s Day. With its lilting melodies and heartfelt lyrics, the song captures the warmth of love and serendipitous connections, marking Tiana’s third release and a special addition to her growing discography.


15) Khuli Kitaab- Biancca

Khuli Kitaab by Mumbai-based singer-songwriter Biancca is an alternative soft-rock track that unravels the quiet ache of unspoken love. With ambient guitars, mellow drum & bass, and soaring violins, the song captures the longing, hesitation, and frustration of emotions left unsaid. Known for her genre-blending sound, Biancca brings vulnerability and depth to this heartfelt composition, making it a poignant addition to her evolving musical journey.
