Delhi-based super-producer Sez On The Beat has been on a roll in 2020. His music is pouring in the drought still, with massive cypher cuts, to hit singles and even bigger vibes on EP’s. His latest release via The MVMNT label is with Lit Happu, a Punjabi emcee with proficiency in melodic songwriting. This collaboration has you bopping your head from the first few seconds. A new generation of Hip-Hop has been looming on the horizon, and it sounds like these that finally need to be out there for the masses.
The MVMNT label has also come to the limelight again following the release of this EP with a multi-feature single called ‘Kahaani 2020’. The single features Sez on the Beat, Zaeden, Enkore, Lit Happu, Yungsta, Shayan and showcases a hip-hop/RnB crossover sound.
The best part about this EP is that it isn’t braggadocious at its core. The ISSA VIBE EP is filled with pure emotion, truths behind its bars, and deep substance in its messages. Lit Happu has outdone himself on this one, exploring his diverse voice range and combining that with his flow switches makes the EP more than just fun to listen to, this is one to really vibe to.

The trippy, futuristic visuals for the video were handmade by Droveumad and certainly adds to the vibes. This is an EP to be played loud in the car, post COVID era is already set up and looking heavy! “No Brakes” zooms in as an intro to the sound of the EP followed by a fan favorite “Shine” – a song that talks about the hypocrisies and double-sided nature of the industry, and lastly followed by a soothingly aggressive track “V and D (Venom and Diamonds)”.
This debut effort can be summarized as a short and sweet explosive bomb. Sez and Happu already proved themselves a lethal combination with their last release “Sauce” with Prabh Deep, and ISSA VIBE just pushes the bar further to the top.
To have a collated effort from them now puts this 3-track EP on max hype levels! On its debut, the EP was already playlisted across Spotify and other platforms, and the EP continues to gain momentum as it goes.
