Chennai born Mumbai based singer-songwriter Zoe Siddharth’s debut song ‘Human’ released late last month. According to the artist ‘Human’ is about the journey of life held together by a support system, the ones who keep us sane, the ones who make us human. A smooth piano forward track delivered with grace, Zoe launches herself with aplomb with this single.
Zoe is not a new name in the music circuit. She was a finalist on The Stage 3, India’s nation-wide English singing talent hunt television show and has completed a Ba(Hons) degree in Music, at the School of Contemporary Music, LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore. The singer also sang 3 songs for the web series ‘Four More Shots Please’ on Amazon Prime. With her debut effort, Zoe is now bringing her unchained creativity and sensitivity to her own project.
‘Human’ begins with tender piano playing and slowly unfolds with lush vocal harmonies. The track then progresses and adds an electronic rhythm in the background during the chorus along with various instrumental layers. An emotional track that aims to pulls you out of distress, the ebbing and flowing of the track is achieved through Zoe’s splendid vocal modulation. “I hope ‘Human’ takes the listener on a journey of appreciation and gratefulness for the people who love them and have their backs. They’re all anyone really needs.” says Zoe.
Zoe believes that music connects one another and strives to be as honest, real and raw as can be to spread positivity, love and confidence through music.
