On the 19th of December, Thursday, SoundTank, a platform, initiated by Delhi based agency Ownage Entertainment, aimed to empower independent musicians, will be celebrating their #1YearAnniversary at Auro Kitchen and Bar, New Delhi with Blackstartblues as its headlining act for the night.
SoundTank will be hosting the Delhi leg for Blackstratblues’ ongoing tour, ‘When it’s time.’ This is Warren’s fifth album since its inception. Blackstratblues is a solo project of Warren Mendonsa, who is a guitarist, composer and record producer currently based primarily out of Mumbai. Most of his work is self-released and is a result of his solo efforts.

Mendonsa has also been the lead guitarist of the cult Indian rock band Zero in the mid-00s. He is the nephew of Indian musician and Bollywood composer Loy Mendonsa of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy fame.
Warren is heavily influenced by the music of bands such as The Beatles, Queen, Eagles, Gary Moore, etc. His music is largely blues and classic rock-oriented. Thus, you are in for a night of memorable, distinctive guitar melodies.
But, Blackstratblues isn’t the only performance in store for you at the Auro Kitchen and Bar. There’ll also be an opening act by a separate band. The opening act will be by a supporting band which will be decided by an online poll on the Facebook Event page by the audience.
