Crowdfunded Festival Control ALT Delete Announces Massive Lineup: 45+Acts, 5 Stages

9 years, 11 shows, 3 cities, and 150+ acts later, Control ALT Delete heads back to the lush environs of Roaring Farm, Malad for its 12th edition this Feb with 45 Independent artists curated across 5 stages. In addition to this musical soiree, CAD will be hosting a variety of experiences such as cozy Lakeside Camping, lip-smacking food, stunning art and more.

A crowdfunded festival through and through, ‘Pay What You Want’ has been its revenue generation model, with the idea of giving the power back to where it belongs – the artists and fans! Backed by absolutely no sponsors but by fans and their contributions, each Rupee contributed is accounted for and all profits are equally divided between the performing artists. Control ALT Delete runs on DIY ethos where all artists, designers, and music fans come together and utilize their skills and strengths.

Part of the lineup are singer-songwriter Ankur Tewari, Ahmer – a hip hop artist from Srinagar, BFR Soundsystem – a reggae protest music Soundsystem from New Delhi, If Hope Dies – a metal band from Darjeeling, Park Circus – hip hop act from Kolkata, Parimal Shais – trap producer from Kochi, West African folk act Boombay Djembe Folas and many many more! The performances will be split across two days and five stages – Survive This (Heavy Metal stage, Sidestand (Alternative, Indie stage), Electric Jungle (Electronica), Mumbai 95 (Hip Hop stage) and Synths & Strings (Singer-songwriter).

The 12th edition of Control ALT Delete is scheduled to take place on 1-2 February 2020. Crowdfunding is now open, so you can head over to the website and contribute – www.controlaltdelete.in. The festival team hopes to raise 5 lakhs before Feb 1st.

The artwork for this edition of Control ALT Delete has been designed by Bangalore based artist Anoop Bhat.
